We partner with the American Society for Hematology (ASH) to offer the ASH‑BSH Abstract Achievement Award.

Award Summary

Up to three BSH members receive US$2,000 and complimentary registration to the ASH Annual Meeting & Exposition
About Supports BSH members, who are in training, presenting high‑scoring abstracts at the ASH Annual Meeting
Who can apply? BSH members in training who tick the eligibility box during ASH abstract submission
Eligibility

BSH Members in one of the following training categories: 

  • Undergraduate student, medical student, postgraduate student, Specialist Trainee, postdoctoral fellow (MD or PhD)
  • Have not received the ASH Abstract Achievement Award within the previous two years

  • Reside within the UK

Allocation
  • Awards are allocated based on abstract score.
  • Recipients must be the first or most senior author of the abstract.

  • Recipients would usually need to present their abstract in person at the ASH Annual Meeting to receive the award.

 Requirements

 Submitters must:

  • Identify as a haematology‑professional‑in‑training during ASH abstract submission

  • Select their training level

  • Include a letter from their Training Program Director confirming their status
