The course will update on the latest multimodality approach to haematological malignancies, including the latest imaging and clinical developments, but also, viewpoints from the staff supporting the development of imaging protocols and implementations of the imaging infrastructure.
Experts from disciplines within the MDT (radiologists, haematologists, histopathologists, radiographers and MRI physicists) will discuss the imaging requirements for the diagnosis, staging and surveillance of myeloma, lymphoma and leukaemia.
This course is designed for consultant or trainee radiologists, haematologists, advanced nurse practitioners, radiographers and all professionals involved in Haemato-Oncology.
Learning objectives include:
Understand the pathophysiological basis of imaging findings in multiple myeloma, lymphoma, and leukaemia.
Compare the strengths, limitations, and indications of key morphological and functional imaging modalities
Familiarise with the current international guidelines (e.g., My-RADS, Deauville) for imaging-based diagnosis, staging, and treatment response assessment.
